Story:
Geetanjali a.k.a Geeta (Anuradha Mehta) goes to kanyakumari on a trip. She finds a poem in a diary left on a beach and signs in it. Her anklet falls into the sea and a guy jumps into the water in front of her eyes. But she doesn't see his face. She dreams about that incident frequently but her friends ask her to forget it. Ajay (Siva Balaji) is a spoiled brat, and is the son of local MP Avataram (Rajan P Dev). He likes Geetanjali and proposes to her. When she refuses, he threatens to jump from the top of college building. Being a meek girl, Geeta accepts the proposal and starts dating him. Arya ([Allu Arjun) is a happy-go-lucky orphan guy with positive attitude. He falls in love with Geeta at first sight. He proposes to her in front of her boyfriend. She bluntly refuses. He asks her to "feel his love" repeatedly in spite of her refusal. When Ajay threatens him, Arya teases Ajay that he has no confidence in his love. Ajay says he has confidence, and will tolerate Arya. Ajay, vexed with Arya, gets him beaten up and creates a situation in which Geetha thinks that Arya has tried to spoil her image in the college. Geeta slaps Arya in front of whole college. Arya promises that he will never show his face to her again and leaves. Later, Ajay tries to kiss Geetha in a disco and Geeta pushes him away. Insulted by her, Ajay devices a plan to trap her. Arya comes to know this and spoils his plan. Irritated by this, Ajay decides to marry Geetha to have an upper hand over Arya forever. In a party organized by MP Avataram, Ajay introduces Geeta to his father and seeks his permission to get married. But, Avataram announces Ajay's marriage with another politician's daughter Lalasa. Ajay hates Lalasa and revolts against his father. But, Avataram doesn't listen to him. Geeta, on the other hand suffers an attack from the goons of Avataram. She tells Arya that he has won because Ajay is getting married to other girl. Arya tells Geeta that he will never let her lose and goes to Ajay's engagement party and brings him to Geeta. Arya, Ajay and Geeta run for their lives from the goons and end up in Arya's home town. The next morning they wake up and realize that Ajay is missing. Arya tries to convince Geeta that Ajay left to win over his father. This leaves private time for Arya and Geetha and they grow close to each other. Geetha starts liking Arya but when she tries to reveal it to him, Ajay and his father return. Avataram agrees to get Ajay married to Geeta. On the day of wedding, Geeta realizes that Arya was the guy who dived into the sea for her anklet and realizes that he came into her life much before Ajay. She leaves the wedding hall and reaches Arya. She expresses her love towards him and they live together happily ever after.
